Using your phone with Vault360 Platinum/SmartPhone Editions
Motorola Q Smartphone
You can set up the SD card as the default storage location if desired, for greater capacity. Go to Start, then Pictures and Video and select Camera. Select Menu and go to Options and Camera. Scroll down to Save Files to: and select the Storage Card option and then press Done.
Vault360 Platinum and Smartphone Edition treat the Motorola Q as a “side loading” device. While the Motorola Q won’t support a direct connection to Vault360 via a USB connection, you can transfer content to the Mini SD card via a SD card reader/writer and then view the content when the card is installed into the Motorola Q.
Insert the Mini SD card into your computer (or card reader), Vault360 Platinum/SPE will detect it and an icon of a disc drive will appear on the bottom right of the Vault interface and the contents of the SD card will appear on the right side of the Vault interface.

You can select files to transfer into Vault (left side) for usage on other Smartphone devices or to transfer back to the Motorola Q
c. You can transfer files from Vault (left side) to your Motorola Q SD card
After transferring files to your Motorola Q SD card, they can be viewed on the Motorola Q by doing the following:
For Videos:
Select the Windows Media Icon. Select Menu and then select Library. Select Menu again and select Update Library. This will update the phone for all of the videos (and music and photos) you just transferred from the Vault. Now you can select the video you wish to play.
Tips: to see the video full screen go to the Menu and select or go to options and set up. To return to the player, press center button. The up and down navigation will increase or decrease the volume and the left and right will select different videos. You have to go to the menu and select stop or the sound track will continue to play even if the video is not visible.
For Music: Same as for videos above.
For Photos:
Navigate to Pictures & Video and select Folders and then Storage Card. Here you will find the photos that were transferred from Vault. The menu offers several options for viewing and sharing your photos.
BlackBerry Pearl
In order to transfer videos/music/pictures to the media card, the Mass Storage Mode Support MUST be turned on. Do this by going to Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Media Card > Mass Storage Support > ON
To turn off the Mass Storage Support once you have transferred your media files go to Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Media Card > Mass Storage Support > OFF
Pictures that are taken with the BlackBerry Pearl camera will be stored in the Device Memory on the phone. In order to transfer them to Vault 360 Platinum/SPE, the pictures must be “moved” from the Device Memory to the Media Card. To do so go to Home Screen > Media > Pictures > Device Memory > “choose picture and push the Menu Key ” > Move > Up > Media Card > push track ball.
Samsung Blackjack
For photos and videos created on the Blackjack, you can set up the SD card as the default storage location if desired, for greater capacity. Go to Start, then Camera and select Menu. Go to Options and General. Scroll down to Default Storage and select the Storage Card option and then press Done.
To set up the Blackjack to connect directly to Vault360 SPE and Platinum:
Go to Settings and then Connections, then USB. Select Mass Storage then confirm by pressing done and backing out. Your phone will now be detected by Vault360 when you connect to your computer via your USB cable.
Note: you must switch back to ActiveSync to synchronize your computer with your phone for e-mails, contacts, etc.
Once your Blackjack is connected to your computer, Vault360 Platinum/SPE will connect to it and an icon of a disc drive will appear in the bottom right of the Vault interface and the contents of the Blackjack SD card will appear on the right side of the Vault interface. While connected you can:

Once files are transferred to your Blackjack SD card, they can be viewed on the Blackjack by doing the following:

Palm Treo W/WX devices:
The Treo devices do not direct connect to the Vault360 interface. You must remove the Mini or Micro SD card and place it into a SD card reader. Then connect the card reader to your computer. Once done it shows up as a drive icon within the Vault360 Platinum/SPE interface. Treat it as such for all importing/exporting of media using the appropriate settings for the Palm Treo device you are using.
Once transferred to the card, insert it back into your Palm Treo, and navigate to the SD card via the Palm interface and view your files or listen to your music.
Palm Treo Devices with Palm Software- These phones require a 3rd party software installed on the Treo in order to view video files placed on SD cards.
